The tracking mode can be switched via web app and web portal of the following functions:

Your Safety Guard GPS Tracker is generally in SLEEP MODE. When it detects a movement, then it’s ready to download a GPS position, after lying still for 5 minutes. When the GPS position has been gathered and sent to your account, then it goes back to sleep.

When you Safety Guard GPS Tracker is in LIVE MODE, it will download a GPS position every 5 minutes, if it is moving and can establish an end position when you have been still for up to 5-15 minutes. When the last position has been calculated, then it will go to sleep, until it is moved again. Remember that LIVE MODE uses more power while it is moving than in SLEEP MODE, which will have effect on its lifetime. If it is sleeping, then the power usage will be the same.

3. GEOFENCE MODE:

GEOFENCE MODE basically works like LIVE MODE. In the event that a position has been sent to your account, which is outside of your chosen GEOFENCE area, you will receive an e-mail about the movement. Remember that GEOFENCE MODE uses more battery during movement, than in SLEEP MODE, which will have an effect on the battery lifetime.

UNIQUE DESIGN

Safety Guard is oblong,flat and round, with an outer diameter of 25,3 mm, a length of 202 mm and weighs 165 grams. The antenna is about1*2 cm. The total length of the wire between the tracker and antenna is 38 cm. (there is an option for a longer wire on the antenna).

EASY TO SET UP

Once a subscription has started, the Safety Guard needs to be shaken for 5 seconds, whereafter it turns on automatically.

BUILT-IN SIM CHIP

Safety Guard has an built-in Embedded SIM chip, with World Wide GSM telesupport. So if there is GSM coverage, it will send your position.

WEATHER

Safety Guard functions where most freeze or sweat. The battery can operate within temperature intervals of -55 to +85^oC.

LONGEVITY

Safety Guard is a disposable product, where the battery is non replaceable. It is optimized, so that it sends a position only after it has not been moved for 5 minutes. With a standby time of up to 10 years, however, max 14,000 GPS tracks, it will usually outlive the thing it is meant to protect.

WATER AND SHOCK RESISTANT

The technology is embedded in a gel, which ensures that it is waterproof to 33 feet and shockproof opposite the common case.

FREE APP AND PORTAL

You can follow the trackers placement on an APP or PORTAL on your computer.
